Property Claims Process
Burglary
- In the event of a burglary call
the police immediately.
- Make a full list of everything
stolen.
- Obtain a copy of the statement
given to the Police
- Report the claim to CGI as soon
as possible by calling 435 2000, OR by completing the form online at the

Fire
- Call the Fire Brigade and the
Police.
- If the circumstances
surrounding the event of the fire are suspicious, it is recommended that
you call the Police as well as the Fire Brigade.
- Report the claim to CGI as soon

Catastrophes
- Report the claim to CGI as soon

Settling your claim
- Once the claim has been
reported, CGI will appoint a Loss Adjuster to assess the claim.
- In the event of fire or damage,
CGI can appoint a reputable professional to repair the damage.
- If you prefer
a professional known to you, you can supply an acceptable estimate for the
work from them, and CGI will employ their services to repair the damage.
